If backups do exist, then maybe this isn't a total disaster.

The server was in Toronto? o.O That's where I am. I'm somewhat tempted to try and go take a look for myself at just what the hell is going on. Admittedly, we did have a nice little power outage the other day from the heat, but it last a half hour, it shouldn't have knocked out the servers for 3 whole days. To be honest, it sounds like they decided to just take your money and run.
